PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP RECOVERY PLAN

The NEPA Alliance is the Recovery Plan Coordinator for Plymouth Township, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. NEPA has guided the Township since entering Act 47 Financial Distress in July 2004. NEPA and the Township have completed an update to the Recovery Plan that will guide them through 2012. At the end of this plan, the Township will exit Act 47. NEPA presented the Recovery Plan Update to the public on April 19, 2010. The Township Board of Supervisors formally adopted the plan by ordinance on June 7, 2010. Pike County Economic Development Authority and NEPA Alliance to Hold PA Heritage Communities Program Forum in Milford
All residents and others who are interested in the future of the community of Milford and tourism are invited and encouraged to participate in a forum on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 5:30 pm at the Tom Quick Inn, Broad Street. This Community Forum will introduce the PA Heritage Communities Program and receive public input on the direction of the program locally, tourism opportunities and perceived needs to enhance the area as a destination.
