Casey DentalCasey Dental received a loan in the amount of $80,000 from the Appalachian Regional Commission Loan Fund at an interest rate of 1% for the purchase of new dental equipment, as well as an upgrade to the company wide computer system. This is one of the nine economic development loan programs administered by NEPA Alliance. Other financing in the project included Luzerne Bank and an equity injection.

Casey Dental recently moved to their new location, and this funding was part of an expansion of Dr. Shawn Casey’s practice which now includes General, Special Needs, and Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry. The expansion is in the areas of Oral Surgery and Endodontics.
